Case studies · Web design

WordPress websites.

A restaurant, an airport and an innovation programme. Three different briefs, with an agency and as a freelancer, built with the same tool.

  1. 01 Camino Bites Restaurant · Website and menu
  2. 02 Aeroport Andorra – La Seu Institutional website · With Acrònim
  3. 03 Innovar con Startup Innovation programme · Website and videos

How they are built

Websites clients can run themselves.

The design is built once. What changes every day, the client changes.

WordPress is a content management system: it keeps the design apart from what gets published. Once the website is built, the restaurant changes its menu or the airport updates its opening hours from a dashboard, without touching any code.

Every brief starts the same way: organising the content, designing how it will look and building the pages with visual builders such as Elementor. Then every page is adapted to work on a phone, a tablet and a computer.

From farm to table, on screen too.

Camino Bites is a casual restaurant in Barcelona with a clear idea: seasonal produce, brought straight from the countryside, and a menu that is almost entirely gluten-free.

I designed and built its website in WordPress: a single page that tells the story of the place and shows the dishes, the menu, the opening hours and the contact details, with table booking always at hand. I also designed the restaurant menu, with the allergens flagged on every dish and the vegan options marked.

Case 02 · Institutional website

Designing an institutional website.

Built so the airport could maintain it itself, and so it would work on any screen.

Aeroport Andorra – La Seu d'Urgell is Andorra's only international air gateway, and its website has to work just as well for a pilot, an aviation company or a visitor from abroad.

I helped build the website in WordPress as part of the Acrònim team. WordPress lets the airport update its own texts, opening hours and services from a dashboard, without touching any code.

I then took care of the menu, with the language switcher built in, and the website was made responsive, so it reads just as well on a phone, a tablet or a computer.

WordPress website, video filming and editing

Startups with solutions and established companies that need them, in one place.

Innovar con Startup was a programme that brought startups and corporates together. Large companies were looking for fast, affordable solutions; startups, for the backing of an established company to bring their projects to life. Everyone came out ahead.

2 Digits Growth launched the programme and I built the website in WordPress, where startups submitted their applications. My work carried on off-screen, all the way to the final meeting.

My web design journey

From Dreamweaver to AI.

These briefs are stops on a longer road. Every new tool has helped me work more efficiently and build better.

  1. 01

    Dreamweaver

My first websites, page by page.

  2. 02

    WordPress

Websites clients update themselves, like the ones on this page.

  3. 03

    Divi

Visual builders to put designs together and fine-tune them faster.

  4. 04

    Figma and Adobe XD

Clickable prototypes: my clients saw their finished website before it existed.

  5. Today

    Designing with AI

Websites designed and built with artificial intelligence, using tools like Claude Code.

How I work today

Four websites built with AI.

Finished, clickable demos, designed and built with Claude Code for four fictional businesses: an estate agency, an online shop, a restaurant and a consultancy. Go in and use them as if they were real.
